Chukyo Racecourse
The Chukyo Racecourse is famous for the G1 horse race, “Takamatsunomiya Kinen”. It also holds other special races such as the GII races of the “Tokai Stakes” and “Kinkosho”. There is also an amusement park within the facility (inside the course), and so visitors who aren’t interested in horseracing as well as families with children can also enjoy.

88 Pilgrimage Sites of Chita Shikoku
When the famous Buddhist monk, Kobo Daishi visited the Chita Peninsula, he was surprised with how similar the sceneries were compared to Shikoku. Later in 1809, Ryozan Ajari, the head priest of the Myorakuji Temple (79th temple) decided to establish the sites after having a revelation in a dream where Kobo Daishi appeared. The pilgrimage sites of Chita Shikoku were made with the help of Hanzo Okato and Yasube Taketa.
